Career Cruising

Career Cruising is available to all the students 6-12 at L’Anse Area Schools to help in career planning. It is web based so you can access it at school or at home if you have internet access by using this link.

Career cruising allows students to explore careers, explore Colleges and Universities, and complete an interest inventory, skills assessment and learning styles survey to help point out careers that students will be interested in pursuing. This program is used by the school to complete student EDPs (Education Development Plans) as required by the State of Michigan. Students who continue to up date their EDP can use them as a resume for work or scholarship applications. Parents can play an active role by insuring that their child is using the program to assist in their future goals and career choices.
