PTO Notes/Announcements

  • Penny War - Being held from January 16-31.
    The elementary grade who wins gets a bonus gym class taught by Mr. Nawrot. Mr. Nawrot will dye his hair if the school brings in $1,500 or more!

  • World's Finest Chocolate Bar Sales - Permission slips due January 13th. Sales will run from the end of January - March 17th. All money raised benefits the playground going in June.

  • Me and My Guy Dance - February 3rd from 6-7:30 in the Cafeteria.

  • Mommy and Son Night - Dance and games held on March 3rd from 6-7:30 in the Cafeteria.

  • Mark your calendar: Hornet Carnival will be April 7th 5-8pm.

  • Boxtops are due May 18th for the last collection of the year.  Keep them coming, as we have already collected over $500 this year!

  • PTO meetings will be held monthly on the 3rd Monday of the month. Times will vary from 3:30 & 5:00. Please watch the announcements & notes sent home regarding the date & times. All parents are encouraged & welcome to attend.

  • Box Tops are once again being collected by the PTO. Classes are competing against each other again this year. Boxtops are due Nov. 11,2016.

  • Shoparoo app is an easy way to help support the PTO. Simply download the Shoparoo app, chose SULLIVAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, chose the grade level you would like the credit to be issued to & take a picture of receipts (grocery store, retail stores, etc.). Points are accrued based upon your total purchase on the receipt.

  • PTO has decided not to do a yearbook this year due to the low sales.

  • Burger King Nights continue to be held every Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (20% of sales will be returned to the PTO and will be used toward the new playground equipment).
